My Love Wraps

As most people can relate to, I found myself stuck at home when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the U.S. I sought to do something profound with the time I suddenly found on my hands. I sought my Creator for guidance and during prayer, I saw my loved ones wrapped in warmth. Warmth that I provided to them.

My grandmother used to say that when someone is warm, they feel loved so making a warm and cozy wrap to keep my family warm made perfect sense. But how do I make a wrap? Again, I sought guidance from my Creator and I saw my Aunt quilting. I set out to learn to quilt. I decided that I would make each of my loved ones a small quilt, just large enough to wrap around them and keep them warm like a hug they can carry with them. It was slow going at first, but we further research and prayer, I was able to design a custom quilt for each of my family members that will not only keep them warm, but be a meaningful keepsake for each. Here is one of my “Love Wraps”…
